No photos this time, just words.

The entire website has been revised, making navigation easier and combining areas of interest. When I first created this site, I did the best I could for a self-taught web builder but after a few years of growth it was time to straighten a few things out. One of the biggest changes was the Main Page with an updated interface for the design and construction of my odd motorcycle. The Technical Research area has been expanded, with a better index and new pages. This update took more hours than I'd like to admit but the time was well-spent.

For the actual project, the steering mechanism was finalized and with any luck it'll work as hoped. Steering has been the most difficult part of this project (by far), requiring hours of thought and a lot of drawings. I wanted to test the concept with some of my cheap cardboard simulations, but given the complexity of the mechanism the only way to find out is build it full-size on the prototype.

I took some of last year's video footage of the rolling chassis and made a 1-minute movie. Take a look at my crude effort on the Photo & Video page.

Another new feature is several pages devoted to the 2008 World of Speed at the Bonneville Salt Flats. It was a great event. Check out the pics and video and turn up the sound.

Summer is coming. Big things are going to happen so stay tuned.
