The Wright Brothers

In 1901 the Wright brothers built their first gliders based on existing air pressure data and drag formulas. When their creations failed to work as expected, they re-examined the information and found it was mostly conjecture or based on unsound principles.

They built a wind tunnel and devised test instruments using pieces of hacksaw blades and bicycle spokes. They tested hundreds of airfoil shapes and their data was unrivaled at the time for it's accuracy. With their results they built new gliders and the rest is history.

Without any data regarding motorcycle steering, I have to do the research myself or risk having the same problem of my recumbent not working the way it should.

I'm not claiming that I'm building something to revolutionize the world, but I am following the Wright brothers' methods and skepticism with the goal of building a motorcycle that works as good as it looks.
