In order to make the test mule's turning
characteristics match the prototype as closely as possible, I found a boys
chopper bike with tires that featured motorcycle proportions. I bought the
bike brand-new and fully assembled, took some reference pics for CAD
drawings, then yanked the wheels and set the frame aside.
Once the testing is complete, I plan to put the
wheels back on the bicycle and sell it on Craig's List to regain a little of my investment.
